Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
This policy explains how Reverie handles information when you discover characters, chat, call, create characters, request images, enable notifications, or purchase Reverie+.
1. Information Reverie handles
- Reverie identifier: the app creates a pseudonymous identifier used for usage limits, subscriptions, notifications, reports, and deletion requests.
- Apple sign-in information: if you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a private account identifier, name, or relay email. The current app stores this profile information on your device.
- Conversation and creator content: chat messages, prompts, character concepts, memory facts, and relevant recent context are processed to provide replies and other requested features. Full chat history is stored on your device unless you choose to report content.
- Audio: call or transcription audio is transmitted for live speech recognition, response generation, and speech playback. Reverie does not intentionally keep raw call audio after processing.
- Images: character portraits, image prompts, and requested edits may be transmitted to image-generation and moderation providers. Generated images are stored on your device.
- Usage and diagnostics: message, image, voice, and call usage counts; approximate provider cost; feature events; and technical failure information may be associated with the pseudonymous Reverie identifier.
- Notifications: if enabled, Reverie stores a push token, selected characters, frequency, quiet hours, and unanswered-message count so it can deliver the check-ins you requested.
- Purchases: Apple processes payment. RevenueCat processes pseudonymous subscription and entitlement information; Reverie does not receive your full payment-card details.
- Reports: when you report a message or character, Reverie stores the reported content, reason, character identifier, status, and pseudonymous user identifier for moderation.
2. Service providers
Reverie uses service providers only to operate requested features, enforce safety rules, deliver notifications, process purchases, and host the service. Depending on the feature, information may be processed by Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, Expo notification services, OpenAI, OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to, xAI, and fal.ai. Their handling is governed by their agreements and privacy terms.
Fluid Bloom Media LLC does not sell personal information and does not use Reverie data for cross-app advertising. We do not use conversations to train a model owned by Reverie.
3. Age assurance
Reverie is for adults 18 and older. On supported Apple systems, Reverie may ask Apple’s Declared Age Range service whether a person is in an adult age range. Reverie receives an age band rather than an exact birth date. Older systems may use a self-attestation. We do not intentionally collect information from minors.
4. Retention
On-device chats, memories, personas, and generated media remain until you delete them, reset the app, or remove the app. Server-side pseudonymous usage, entitlement, notification, and account records are kept while needed to operate the account, enforce limits, meet accounting obligations, and resolve abuse or support issues. Reports may be retained in de-identified form for moderation history. Aggregate metrics that no longer identify an account may remain.
5. Your choices
