Reverie contains open-ended AI roleplay, romance, simulated relationships, user-created characters, generated images, and voice conversations. AI output can be unpredictable even when moderation is active.
How access is restricted
- The App Store listing is designated for adults and participates in Apple’s platform-level age and parental controls.
- On supported Apple systems, Reverie may use Apple’s Declared Age Range service to receive an age band—not an exact birth date.
- On systems where Apple’s age range is unavailable or not shared, Reverie requires an explicit 18+ self-attestation before access.
- A disclosed under-18 age range is blocked from entering Reverie.
Content controls
Standard mode blocks explicit sexual content. Illegal and extreme categories—including any sexual content involving minors or age ambiguity—remain prohibited. Users can report replies and characters, block characters, disable proactive notifications, and delete their account.
What adults should expect
Characters and messages are AI-generated and fictional. Reverie is not a human relationship, therapist, emergency service, or source of professional advice. Calls, voices, and images are generated features and can be inaccurate or unexpected.
